Premium Spirulina Chips 50 g

Premium Spirulina Chips are a high-quality vegetable supplementary food for dwarf shrimp, crayfish, and other invertebrates in freshwater aquariums. The chips are based on spirulina algae and are ideal for targeted supplementation of a balanced and natural diet.

Spirulina is rich in vegetable nutrients and is readily accepted by shrimp. Due to the flat chip shape, the food sinks slowly to the bottom and remains dimensionally stable for a long time. Shrimp can graze on the surface for an extended period without the food immediately dissolving or unnecessarily polluting the aquarium water.

As the chips remain in the water, a natural biofilm forms on their surface, which is particularly intensively used by juvenile shrimp. Snails and smaller crayfish also readily accept the spirulina chips and benefit from the slow decomposition.

Premium Spirulina Chips are suitable for all common dwarf shrimp species such as Neocaridina and Caridina, and can also be used in breeding and rearing tanks.

Algae-based supplementary food for shrimp

Spirulina algae are a proven component in shrimp feeding. The Premium Spirulina Chips provide vegetable ingredients and ensure a well-tolerated, high-quality variety in the feeding plan.

Feeding recommendation

Depending on the stocking, feed one to two chips per aquarium. The amount should be chosen so that most of the food is consumed within two to three hours. The chips can also remain in the aquarium longer if necessary and continue to serve as a grazing area.

The Spirulina Chips are ideal as a supplementary food and should be offered alternately with other vegetable food types.

Feeding note

Store in a dry, cool, and dark place. Feed only as much as the animals can consume. Suitable for freshwater aquariums with shrimp, crayfish, and snails.
