Hibiscus flowers as a natural feed:
Hibiscus flowers are valued in horse feeding for their pleasantly tart taste and their content of natural plant substances. They contain organic acids, flavonoids and antioxidants and are traditionally used when horses are in periods of increased demand – such as during coat changes, after stress or during training.

The gently dried, whole flowers can naturally supplement the daily feed ration and provide a tasty change. Hibiscus flowers are also particularly popular as an addition to mash or in combination with rose hips.
