The Aquascaping Detail Stones Mini Landscape are small, carefully selected natural stones that you can use to add the fine details to your aquarium that make a layout truly natural. It is precisely their individual irregularity that brings an underwater landscape to life and gives you the opportunity to reinterpret your scape again and again.
The stones come in shades of grey to dark grey and have a rugged, lively surface. This makes them ideal for recreating mountain formations, rock faces or small slopes in the aquarium. Especially in the Iwagumi style, the Mini Landscape stones unfold their effect and create an expressive depth effect. Also in combination with roots or wood, the dark colour creates an exciting contrast.
The Detail Stones are available in two grain sizes, so you can flexibly adapt them to your layout. The finer grain size of 3 to 7 mm is ideal for working out transitions, structuring foregrounds and setting fine details. The slightly coarser grain size of 8 to 16 mm is well suited for building up larger areas, complementing rock groups or creating the impression of a scree field. Both grain sizes can also be wonderfully combined with each other.
Each pack contains 250 g of Mini Landscape stones. With this, you can design a complete layout in a nano aquarium or specifically add details to a larger aquarium. Since natural stones vary slightly in shape and colour, each bag is a small unique item.
The packaging of the Aquascaping Detail Stones is part of the "I am Green" series. It is made partly from sugar cane instead of crude oil and completely dispenses with an aluminum layer. The KPET film used provides a good barrier effect, so that hardly any compromises have to be made with the more environmentally friendly material compared to classic packaging.
Made in Germany, the Aquascaping Detail Stones Mini Landscape are suitable for beginners who are building their first layout, as well as for experienced aquascapers who want to add expressive details to their scape.
Recommended application: Rinse the stones briefly before use to remove stone dust, and place them in the aquarium to suit your layout. When placing them, ensure a deliberately irregular arrangement; this looks more natural than perfect symmetries.
