Premium alder cones
Premium Alder Cones
Premium alder cones are a proven natural product for freshwater aquariums with dwarf shrimp, ornamental fish, snails, and other invertebrates. They come from the alder tree and are carefully selected and gently dried to preserve their natural ingredients.
In the aquarium, alder cones release natural humic substances and plant tannins into the water. These can support the well-being of aquarium inhabitants and contribute to natural conditions. Shrimp, in particular, like to use alder cones as grazing areas, as biofilm and microorganisms quickly form on their surface.
Alder cones sink after a short time and can remain permanently in the aquarium. They are suitable for shrimp aquariums as well as breeding and rearing tanks and aquariums with sensitive fish species.
GarnelenTv's premium alder cones are untreated, free from additives, and supplied in consistent quality.
Natural Water Care and Grazing Area
Alder cones are among the classics in aquaristics. They combine water care with natural food supplementation and have been successfully used in shrimp keeping for many years.
Application Recommendation
Depending on the aquarium size, use one to two alder cones per 10 to 20 liters of aquarium water. The cones can be placed directly into the aquarium. After a short time, they will sink and begin to release their ingredients.
The cones can remain in the aquarium until they are completely leached out or decomposed. Afterwards, they can be removed and replaced if necessary.
Application Note
Natural product. Slight variations in shape and size are possible. Rinse briefly before use. Suitable for freshwater aquariums with shrimp, ornamental fish, snails, and crayfish.
