Liquid Filter Starter for Optimal Water Quality

The KENJI KOI Filter Starter is used for the quick initiation of new filters or for reactivating existing filters. Nitrifying bacteria promote the breakdown of ammonium and nitrite, while denitrifying bacteria accelerate the breakdown of organic matter such as leaves, food residues, and feces. The KENJI KOI Filter Starter contains over 100 million live bacteria per ml, providing quick relief for poor water quality.

Regular use of the filter starter ensures permanent colonization of the bacteria. A filter starter should be used especially after cleaning and after administering medications.

Dosage of KENJI KOI Filter Starter:

In spring: 25ml per 1,000 liters of pond water daily for 8 days

After heavy rainfall and water changes: 25ml per 1,000 liters of pond water once

For maintenance / support: 15ml per 1,000 liters of pond water once a week

Application of Filter Starter

Apply directly into the filter, if available, then into the filter or Japanese mats. Alternatively, the filter starter can also be poured directly into the pond.

Safety instructions: Keep out of reach of children. Once opened, store the product in a cool, dark place. Protect from heat and sunlight. Note: The bacteria are neither toxic nor harmful to fish, plants, and humans. Accidental overdosing does not cause any damage.
