Ideal filter starter for breaking down ammonium and nitrite
KENJI KOI Clean Aqua Boost consists of dried bacterial cultures that become active when they come into contact with water and oxygen. Clean Aqua Boost is an ideal filter starter because the bacteria promote the breakdown of ammonium and nitrite and establish and secure the biological balance in the pond. Thanks to the highly concentrated formula of various microorganisms, a wide reach is achieved, allowing only 25ml to treat a pond volume of 10,000L and provide immediate relief.

- Can be used in spring, summer & autumn – to promote water quality throughout the year
- Accelerates the "run-in" period for new filters and helps reactivate them in spring
- After adding medication, as this attacks existing bacteria in the filter
- After cleaning the filter to boost biology
Dosage of Clean Aqua Boost:
Initial dosage: 25 ml (approx. 16g) of powder per 10,000 liters of pond water
Follow-up dosage: 12.5 ml (approx. 8g) of powder per 10,000 liters of pond water
Application: Dissolve the specified amount of powder in a bucket filled with 30°C warm water and let it stand in a shady place for 4 – 12 hours to activate the bacteria. During this activation time, the Clean Aqua Boost should be stirred occasionally to speed up the process and achieve maximum effect. Then distribute the solution evenly in the pond and filter to achieve a quick and good effect. Application should only take place when the water temperature is consistently 12°C or higher.
Caution: Protein skimmers, UV clarifiers, and ozone generators must be switched off for 48 hours so that the bacteria can work.
