🐴 Icelandic Moss for Horses – Herbal Supplement for Respiratory and Digestive Health

Single feed for horses

Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica) is a traditionally used fodder herb, characterized by its natural content of mucilage, bitter substances, polysaccharides, vitamin C, flavonoids and minerals. This combination is valued in horse feeding when a gentle, herbal supplement for the respiratory tract or digestion is desired.

The dried lichen can usefully supplement the daily feeding, especially during periods of increased stress or during a feed change. Due to its mucilage content, the plant is particularly suitable for horses whose respiratory tract or digestion react sensitively.

Icelandic moss is used in traditional feeding both as a component of herbal mixtures and individually. Preparation as a cold extract, in which the natural components can optimally dissolve, is particularly gentle.

  • Traditionally used fodder herb with high mucilage content

  • Proven supplement in feeding for sensitive digestion
