GarnelenTv Premium Nettle Leaves are a natural supplementary food for dwarf shrimp, snails, crayfish, and other invertebrates in freshwater aquariums. The leaves are carefully selected and gently dried to preserve their natural plant-based ingredients.

Nettle leaves are among the classic natural foods in shrimp keeping and are reliably accepted by shrimp. After being placed in the aquarium, the leaves slowly sink and serve as food and grazing surface for an extended period. Biofilm forms on the surface, which is particularly intensively grazed by young shrimp.

The Premium Nettle Leaves are free from artificial additives, colorings, or preservatives. They are ideal for a natural supplement to the feeding plan and can be used in both shrimp aquariums and breeding and rearing tanks.

The nettle leaves are supplied in a practical, re-sealable bag, which allows for clean storage and easy dosing.

Natural Nettle Leaves as a Supplementary Food for Shrimp

Nettle provides plant components that shrimp would also consume in their natural environment. The leaves ensure calm feeding and support a consistent supply for all animals in the aquarium.

Feeding Recommendation

Feed one to two nettle leaves per aquarium, depending on aquarium size and stocking. The leaves can remain in the aquarium for several hours to days and continue to serve as a grazing area. Remove heavily decomposed remnants if necessary.

Nettle leaves are ideal as a supplementary food and should be offered alternately with other plant-based feed types.
