Premium Hokkaido Chips 10 g

Premium Hokkaido Chips are a high-quality vegetable supplementary food for dwarf shrimp, crayfish, and other invertebrates in freshwater aquariums. The chips consist of gently dried Hokkaido pumpkin and are ideal for varied and natural feeding.

Hokkaido pumpkin is very well accepted by shrimp and provides valuable plant-based nutrients. Due to their chip shape, the food slowly sinks to the bottom and remains dimensionally stable for a long time. Shrimp can graze on the surface for an extended period without the food immediately disintegrating or unnecessarily polluting the water.

Hokkaido Chips are particularly suitable as a supplement to a main food and can be used specifically to add variety to the feeding plan. With increasing lying time, a natural biofilm forms on the surface, which is intensively used by shrimp and juveniles.

Premium Hokkaido Chips are suitable for all common dwarf shrimp species such as Neocaridina and Caridina and can also be fed to snails and smaller crayfish.

Natural Pumpkin Supplementary Food for Shrimp

Hokkaido pumpkin is a proven vegetable component in shrimp feeding. Premium Hokkaido Chips provide vegetable fiber and natural ingredients, ensuring a well-tolerated variety in the aquarium.

Feeding recommendation

Feed one to two chips per aquarium, depending on the stocking density. The amount should be chosen so that the food is largely consumed within two to three hours. Leftovers can be removed if necessary or left in the aquarium for longer, as they continue to serve as grazing areas.

Hokkaido Chips are ideal as a supplementary food and should be offered alternately with other vegetable food types.

Feeding instructions

Store dry, cool, and protected from light. Feed only as much as the animals can consume. Suitable for freshwater aquariums with shrimp, crayfish, and snails.
