Yourdog Pug food promotes the holistic health and well-being of your dog. All Yourdog products contain delicious buffalo and chicken meat. We combine this with carefully selected vegetables, fruits, and herbs to create the perfect food for your pug.

Why Yourdog Pug

Rich in buffalo and poultry. Specially made for pugs. Contains fenugreek, tomato, and raspberries. Promotes a healthy, shiny coat. Maintains a healthy gut flora. Free from artificial colors, flavors, and fragrances. Also suitable for sensitive pugs.

Our ingredients

To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for each 12 kg bag to improve its consistency in our pellets. With the right balance of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and vibrant color, and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content, fewer calories, and is therefore very healthy.

poultry

At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry support healthy muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide your dog with additional valuable nutrients, we've added super-healthy vegetables to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other health benefits. The fiber in vegetables is good for the gut and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, providing your dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. Fruit can be beneficial for your dog's immune system, for example, but it can also help keep their breath fresh and maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote your dog's overall health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc., has a tradition spanning thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. Depending on the dog's size, breed, or breed group, certain ingredients are emphasized. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.

Pug-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Pug. We have also investigated the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Pug belongs. Based on these studies, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Pug.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek, like the pea, is a plant from the legume family. It is also known as fenugreek or "Greek hay." Originally from Mesopotamia, it was already known in the Mediterranean region in antiquity. Today, fenugreek is also cultivated in Central Asia.

Fenugreek is rich in iron and copper. It contains saponins and coumarins, which can help with vein problems. It also has anti-inflammatory properties (natural anti-inflammatories) and promotes bile production.

Fenugreek can be added to feed to help prevent arthritis, asthma, and skin problems. The stomach and intestines also benefit from the positive effects of fenugreek, supporting healthy digestion.

tomato

The tomato belongs to the nightshade family and originates from the tomato plant, which is native to Mesoamerica. Small varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and Mayans. In 1893, it was decided in America that the fruit should be considered a vegetable.

At Yourdog, we use the tomato in a culinary sense; here we assume that the tomato is a vegetable.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and high in soluble fiber, which promotes digestion. They also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato, the more lycopene it contains. Lycopene not only gives tomatoes their red color but is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene may, among other things, protect against cancer and help with cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, tomatoes contain plenty of vitamin C, as well as vitamins A and B complex, which can contribute to healthy skin and a strengthened immune system.

Tomatoes are added to our dog food because they can positively contribute to the prevention of breed-specific ailments related to digestion, skin, eyesight, and cardiovascular diseases. Furthermore, they can have a generally cleansing effect on the body.

Raspberries

The raspberry is a plant from the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. Raspberry cultivation dates back to the Middle Ages and is naturally widespread throughout Europe.

Raspberries contain many substances that can support a dog's health, such as vitamins like vitamin C, minerals like manganese, and antioxidants. Furthermore, raspberries are low in sugar and calories and rich in beneficial fiber.

Raspberries are added to our dog food because of their anti-inflammatory properties and can positively contribute to the function of the immune system. Raspberries can also help maintain eyesight and a healthy cardiovascular system.
