Why Yourdog Lion Dog
Rich in buffalo and poultry. Specially made for the Lion Dog. Contains thyme, banana, and celery. Promotes a healthy, shiny coat. Maintains a healthy gut flora. Free from artificial colors, flavors, and fragrances. Also suitable for sensitive Lion Dogs. Our ingredients
To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat are dried for each 12 kg bag to improve its processing in our dry food. With the right balance of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and vibrant color, and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very healthy.
poultry
At Yourdog, we use duck, chicken, and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry support healthy muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
To provide your dog with additional valuable nutrients, we've added super-healthy vegetables to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other health benefits. The fiber in vegetables is good for the gut and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog, providing your dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. Fruit can be beneficial for your dog's immune system, for example, but it can also help keep their breath fresh and maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote your dog's overall health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc., has a tradition spanning thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its beneficial properties. Depending on the dog's size, breed, or breed group, certain ingredients are emphasized. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated through the use of herbs, roots, flowers, and plants.
Lion-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Lion Doggie. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Lion Doggie belongs. Based on these studies, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Lion Doggie.
thyme
Thyme is a genus in the mint family (Lamiaceae). It includes herbaceous or woody plants with a very aromatic scent. The Greeks and Romans used thyme as a medicinal plant to treat lung diseases, rheumatism, paralysis, stomach cramps, ulcers, headaches, colic, and nervous weakness.
Thyme's medicinal properties are confirmed by its high vitamin K content. Furthermore, thyme contains a significant amount of iron, as well as the minerals calcium and manganese. It also contains the amino acid tryptophan and a considerable amount of dietary fiber.
Thyme has anti-inflammatory properties and strong antibacterial and antifungal effects. Furthermore, it stimulates the production of white blood cells and strengthens the immune system. Thyme is rich in antioxidants and effectively combats free radicals.
At Yourdog, we add thyme to our dog food because it may contribute positively to the prevention of breed-specific ailments related to rheumatism, paralysis, stomach, and nerves. Thyme is also a natural antibacterial agent.
banana
The banana plant grows in tropical regions where temperatures do not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that bananas were cultivated in New Guinea as early as 7,000 years ago. The name derives from the word Œbanaana in the Wolof language.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals. These include vitamins A, C, and B11 (folic acid), as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron, and zinc. The natural antioxidant vitamin C can strengthen the immune system. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with hypertension, while magnesium can relax muscles and promote bone growth. Furthermore, bananas contain plenty of fiber and promote a healthy gut microbiome.
celery
Celery is a plant from the Apiaceae family. It is commonly found growing on damp soil along the coast.
Celery is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, and also contains plenty of folic acid and potassium. Furthermore, celery is fat-free, high in fiber, and very low in calories.
We add celery to our dog food because it can positively contribute to supporting the dog's immune and digestive systems. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, muscle and nerve function thanks to vitamin A, and the maintenance of strong bones thanks to vitamin K.

Allow two days for your dog to adjust. Then, feed a mixture of 50% Yourdog and 50% of their old food. It is important to allow your dog another two or three days to adjust. Next, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of their old food. Your dog is now almost completely accustomed to Yourdog. Continue this process for two days. After that, you can switch to 100% Yourdog. Please note that Yourdog food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight container or barrel in a dry, cool, and dark place.
